Animated explainers can be great for conveying the functionality of financial products in a short timeframe, especially when you don’t want the product to feel specific to any particular geography, culture or demographic. But they can also feel impersonal and confusing - especially to new customers. But by using simplified human avatars and a clean, crisp animation style, we obtained the widest relevance while maintaining precision around the product’s capabilities.
